There is a new buzz in town! Game of Thrones fame Kit Harington is reportedly joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe for an unknown role. Rumor has it that Kit Harington will reprise the role of Wolverine in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
After a report claimed Harington is expected to kick-start a Marvel franchise headed by Kevin Feige, both Harington and the X-Men’s Wolverine began trending on Twitter. Reports further add an official announcement revealing Harington’s Marvel role could be made before D23 Expo, Disney’s bi-annual convention which closes over the weekend.

There has already been a few announcements from Marvel’s end with Ms. Marvel, Moon Knight and She-Hulk being unveiled for the Disney+ streaming service. But the hype which Harington will bring if cast as the Wolverine in the X-Men reboot can surely take the studio’s plan to another level.
These reports are acknowledged by Feige who had previously claimed that the cast of mutants will first begin to surface in the MCU in Phase 5. “It’ll be a while. It’s all just beginning and the five-year plan that we’ve been working on, we were working on before any of that was set. So really it’s much more, for us, less about specifics of when and where [the X-Men will appear] right now and more just the comfort factor and how nice it is that they’re home. That they’re all back. But it will be a very long time.” – Feige had admitted previously.

One thing is for sure, Kit Harington’s entry to the MCU adds a new dimension to the studios future, something which both the hardcore MCU fans and GoT fanatics will dearly relish.
