Let’s just address this right away. If you did not become emotional atleast once during the 3 hour long – Avengers : Endgame, then you really have some super powers. As of today, the movie has shattered all records and is the highest grossing movie of all time. This MCU flick, which was released in April had a mix of both brutal action and equallyt heart-wrenching scenes. One of them had to be the funeral for Tony Stark or our beloved Ironman.
Dissecting the scene, the entire group of MCU characters in attendance collectively felt the impact of Stark throughout their lives and the way MCU introduced various characters in the scene is worth a lot of applause, case in point General Ross and Harley Keener, the kid who had helped Tony in Ironman 3. However there was almost one more attendant added in post.

Marvel Studios head honcho, Kevin Feige, sat down for an exclusive Q&A session where he revealed that Cassie Lang was also nearly added digitally to the funeral scene to complete Ant-Man’s family.

Feige then admitted that it really did not make sense to add Cassie. While she is obviously integral to Antman’s story, she had never interacted with Tony. So while funerals are emotional in general, Cassie really wouldn’t have contributed much to the scene.

We can admit that it probably would not have made much difference to the audience if she had been there or not. The scene was emotional enough to catch everyone’s attention and was easily one of the most loved scenes in entire MCU movie history.
