Months after the hugely anticipated Marvel and Sony’s collaboration, we got to know that a dispute between Walt Disney Company and Sony Corporation has put the ideas of further Spiderman movies on hold.
This news comes as a shock to many as Spiderman: Far From Home, the latest Spiderman flick, crossed the worldwide collections of Skyfall and Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle to become the biggest global blockbuster for Sony.
As per reports, Sony has rejected an offer from Disney that future Spider-Man films be a 50/50 co-financing arrangement between both the studios. The reports further adds Sony came back with other proposals, but Disney did not want to settle for them.

Another statement from Sony said Marvel President Kevin Feige might not continue as the lead producer for future Spider-Man films. Naturally the fans of the web-slinging superhero and the MCU as a whole were utterly disappointed with the recent developments as the latest flick had promised a lot for the future of the franchise.
Adding to this, it has been reported that lead actors Tom Holland and Zendaya have both unfollowed Sony on the social media platform Instagram, thus further adding fuel to the fire.
